In 2003 the Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft Psychiatrie-Erfahrener (LAG) Berlin was founded, from which the Berlin Organisation of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry (BOP&P) developed in 2005. BOP&P aims to support the formation of self-help groups, to facilitate the exchange of experiences and information, to engage in public relations work and to represent psychiatric survivors in Berlin by sending delegates to different committees and participating in working groups.
